Angel Investing 201 – Better Investing Series
This half day course enables an investor who has had some exposure to angel investing improve their decision-making and deal skills through a more critical analysis of the market opportunity, a more detailed review of the term sheet, and a more in depth understanding of the capital structure of early stage companies. Exercises throughout the series provide practical learning experience based on actual examples.

Instruction will be led by Stephanie Hanbury-Brown, founder and Managing Director of Golden Seeds.

Stephanie Hanbury-Brown is an active angel investor in early stage high growth companies. Her portfolio encompasses companies across various sectors, including software, hardware, health care, consumer goods and media.

Stephanie’s 20 year career prior to becoming a venture investor was in financial services. She has worked in all three times zones - in Sydney, London and New York. The majority of her career was with J.P. Morgan where she headed several global businesses including positions as Global Head of Futures and Options, Head of International Private Banking, COO of Global Equities and Head of eCommerce and managed budgets up to $500m.

Stephanie currently retains board positions with public companies Foster Wheeler AG, and Riskmetrics Group. She obtained a Batchelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.
